Overmount Kitchen Sinks Stainless Steel

Product Description

Most often, these China Overmount Kitchen Sinks Stainless Steel are purchased to replace existing sinks. All are custom made for your particular situation. Frequently, we are asked to replace double or triple bowl sinks like the one below. Most of our customers like our "architectural edge profile" as shown to the left. (That one had custom clipped corners) We can also give you a flat flange. Remember, these are hand made sinks, not mass-produced sinks.

All of our stainless sinks are "zero radius" sinks. The only radius is a slight one from the bottom of the bowl to the sides. A question often heard is "does this make the sink difficult to clean?" The answer is no. We have sold thousands of sinks with zero radius corners and everyone loves them. Most of the "high-end luxury" sinks are made with a zero radius. This feature gives you a much more usable room inside the sink, plus a more custom look when installed.

Installation Procedure of China Overmount Kitchen Sinks Stainless Steel

Installation of any sink necessarily involves some plumbing tasks, including installing the drain and the faucet, and if the plumbing isn't your thing, you're going to need a pro for those jobs. When it comes to dropping in the sink, the toughest part of the job is cutting the hole for it. Most sinks come with a cutting template to make this job easier, but cutting through some materials, such as stone, composite material, or laminates is a job best done by someone with the right tools and the skill to use them properly.

Just before you drop the sink into place, manufacturers recommend laying a bead of silicone caulk around the circumference of the hole. This helps prevent water from seeping under the rim. You'll also want to caulk the outer edge of the rim after installation is complete and you've tightened all the clamps to keep dirt and water from getting underneath.

The sink has to be level, or water will pool in the bottom and won't go down the drain. Check the level of the countertop and make any necessary corrections before installing the sink. Once you've done this, all you have to do to level the sink is to make sure the rim sits flush against the countertop on all sides. If there's a wider gap on one side than the other, this usually means that the hole is too small and needs to be widened slightly.
