China baffle hood filters are increasingly employed by commercial and residential kitchens not only for its appearance but also for its efficiency in grease filtration and lower fire risk rate. Different from metal mesh grease filters, China baffle hood filters are constructed by interlocking baffles with a tortuous route for the passage of grease oil. The oil particles finally follow down the smooth vanes and collect within the canopy holding casings.

The China baffle hood filters are designed to collect grease and stop flames from penetrating into hood exhaust ductwork. They can be made of stainless steel, galvanized, and aluminum material with electrolytic polishing or anodic oxidation finish. The China baffle hood filters contain two layers of equally spaced roll or square formed baffles which creates airflow to collect efficiently grease and make grease into the collecting trough finally. Its frame shall be formed metal channel, and each frame is connected with heavy rivets.
